Plant a Tree Day: Donations Today Are Doubled
Today is Plant a Tree Day, 28th Sept, a day when donations to One Tree Planted are doubled by their partners, planting even more trees.
One Tree Planted is a nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation and the restoration of degraded landscapes. They fund and support tree-planting with local partners around the world - work that builds climate resilience, restores ecosystems, protects biodiversity, and supports the communities who live alongside these forests.
Our donation today
Bonus Trading is a supporter of One Tree Planted, and today we have donated a further $200, which will be doubled - planting $400 worth of trees!
Why plant trees?
It's no secret that packaging and the shipping of goods plays a part in affecting the environment. By planting trees we are helping to offset some of that impact, and restore natural habitats.
Tree planting helps to restore eco systems and protect the environment.
