Our Sustainability

We aim to make a difference. See the ways in which Bonus Trading is working to make the supply and use of packaging, labels and equipment more sustainable and eco-responsible.

Energy Usage

Our warehouses use motion sensor activated LED lighting, so we aren't using energy unnecessarily - this has reduced our energy use by 40%. Our electricity policy is Zero Carbon and all of our electricity is provided via green, zero-emission energy supplies.

Reduced Carbon Footprint

We buy stock as close to home as possible to limit CO² emissions related to procurement. We have invested in our delivery lorries which are the latest UK standards and we optimise route planning to minimise the number of miles travelled.

Logistic Improvements

We've made logistical improvements and changes to the products and equipment we use. We source the best high yield supplies to minimise our carbon footprint.

Materials and Recycling

We use more products made from sustainable materials and where possible we recycle the waste generated during the daily operations of our warehouses and offices.

FSC^® Certified

Bonus Trading is a certified FSC^® supplier and we uphold the integrity of the FSC^® certified product supply chain. We can supply certified products upon request. Our catalogues are printed on FSC^® certified paper and also sent without plastic film wrap.

One Tree Planted

Through the One Tree Planted organisation, we make donations that help support reforestation projects.

Trees are planted in areas where they can have the most meaningful and long-lasting global impact. They will absorb carbon from the atmosphere for years to come, helping to offset the carbon generated from the activities of our business.
